Data Storage Device Destruction

Shred Spot can securely destroy your electronic data storage drives by degaussing, crushing and/or shredding them. We will destroy data stored on hard drives, solid state drives, embedded memory drives and more.

If the electronic data storage drive is removed from the device (devices include computers, laptops, external hard drive cases, cell phones, tablets, etc.) you can stay and watch it be destroyed.

If the storage device needs to be removed from the device you cannot stay and watch the destruction process due to the amount of time it takes to remove the storage drive from its device.

For each ton of electronics destroyed and recycled by Shred Spot, 1.65 tons of carbon emissions from burning coal are prevented from entering the atmosphere. For every 50 tons of electronics destroyed and recycled by Shred Spot, the annual energy consumption of 27 households is conserved.
