Prospect Heights Paper Shredding Service
Shred Spot was founded in 2009 with the goal of providing document destruction in Prospect Heights with a higher level of customer service and convenience than the industry norm. All of the paper we shred is made into 1,400 pound bales. We then send a truckload of bales (40,000 pounds) to the paper mills to be turned into recycled paper.
We can pick up any quantity of papers from your office, home or other storage location, shred them securely at our plant or on-site at your location. Below are some different pickup scenarios we can handle.
– Individual or palletized boxes
– Leaving 64 gallon carts at your location for a period of time for you to fill and we will then return to pick them up for shredding
– Shredding events at your location

Your shredded paper will be combined with others into 1,400 pound bales and sent to paper recycling companies such as Kimberly-Clark and Georgia Pacific where it will be recycled and turned into paper towels and bathroom tissue. Even the cardboard boxes that hold your paper will be recycled.
