Lake Zurich Paper Shredding Service
Shred Spot was founded in 2009 with the goal of providing document destruction in Lake Zurich with a higher level of customer service and convenience than the industry norm. All of the paper we shred is made into 1,400 pound bales. We then send a truckload of bales (40,000 pounds) to the paper mills to be turned into recycled paper.
You can bring your papers to us anytime and watch as they get shredded. There is no minimum amount of paper required. Pricing is by the pound and depends on volume. Bring it to us in boxes, bags or loose. We will bring a cart or pallet to your vehicle to help unload and bring it into our plant. Don’t worry about removing staples, paper clips or binder clips. Your shredded paper gets mixed with other paper and automatically baled into 1,400 pound bales. It is then sent to a paper mill to be recycled into paper towels and toilet paper. We ship to Kimberly-Clark, Georgia Pacific, International Paper and SCA. What about the cardboard boxes that hold your paper? They get baled and sent to a cardboard plant to be made into recycled cardboard and box board.
